Description
This is a commission I completed from a photograph. It was important to me to try to capture the intensity of the visual impact of tropical islands. So, there is a focus on color saturation. I also wanted to display the Big Sky of the open waters with the clouds.
The painting is done on wood cradled panel using the classic oil painting technique of underpainting and glaze layering.
